AUS Women's U202332313We believe they deserve a 13 because of their impressive fair-mindedness throughout the game as well as keeping a high level of self control and an excellent attitude towards each other and us. Calls were brief and discussed respectfully.
GER Women's U202233212
GBR Women's U202222210There were several foul calls but all were resolved quickly and with fair-mindedness.
ITA Women's U202122310The game was very intense and competitive, but the physicality was led to a few plays considered dangerous by the game advisors. Slightly higher physicality was acceptable for both teams, but we want to ensure the game stays safe. However, even with all the stoppages and language barriers there was calm and patient communication between the teams.
CAN Women's U20221229We believe there were several calls made during this game on an unreasonable basis (travels, fouls, etc) which reflects poor fair mindedness. Some were contested and some were overruled by video. During this game there was also a disconnect between the coaches' decisions and the information distributes to the players in relation to covid protocols. This led to some frustration and conflict between players on the sidelines before it was resolved. This is not part of the scores, just a note.
JPN Women's U202322312There was very minimal body contact and plays were made safely. Communication was excellent even with a language barriers for many team members.
FRA Women's U20212229There was a lot of contact and foul calls made during this game. Even though the game was very intense, there should have been a stronger focus on maintaining less body contact.
CAN Women's U202222210This game had good communication, especially during foul calls. Spirit improved thoughout the game and was better than last game.
FRA Women's U20110125Double teams occured often and were not fixed after several discussions about it. Many foul and contact calls were made which resulted in long discussions where the unbiased (GA or video) decision was rarely accepted. The frequency of calls led to disrupted momentum of points. There were also several occurrences where they did not understand the rules which led to unnecessarily long discussions. We wish this final could have felt more spirited for how special of a game it should be.
